Rosa Virginia Osorio de Deternoz
Chief Executive Officer
With a Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Rosa Virginia has over 25 years of professional work experience in management, and has developed special talents to analyze situations and solve problems, ensuring completion of projects with the highest quality outcomes. Rosa Virginia has worked with great companies, such as Imagex Prepress and El Nacional, one of Venezuela’s most important newspapers. Thereafter, because of her extensive experience, she was hired by Castlereagh – Printcraft in New York to lead the Prepress department where she worked for 7 years.

With her versatility and leadership skills, she transitioned into the Construction Management industry, where she has made a careers for the past 10 years.

Currently, as CEO of Tecno Obras Consulting Group, Rosa Virginia directly oversees the execution of projects for private clients, guaranteeing the highest quality standards and guiding the team to achieve her clients’ objectives and the projects’ success. With her knowledge of three languages, English, Spanish, and Italian, she is able to easily communicate directly with clients. Rosa Virginia is a trusted advisor who looks after her clients’ interests by taking care of every detail.
Carlos E. Deternoz
Chief Operating Officer
Carlos has a Civil Engineering Bachelor degree from the Central University of Venezuela (Universidad Central de Venezuela - UCV) and graduated first place in his class with a hydraulic emphasis in 1993. He is a registered and active professional engineer of the Engineer College of Venezuela and an affiliate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
With over 30 years of experience in the areas of residential and commercial building, integrating architecture concepts with engineering solutions for infrastructure and superstructure projects, he applies his skills and versatility in the areas of design and construction management.
Carlos initiated his career in Venezuela, acquiring knowledge and experience through a diversity of projects. He honed his skills in identifying issues, analyzing problems, coordinating and providing high-quality solutions and technical support, and utilizing professional engineering standards, design philosophies, and methods in the preparation of detailed calculations.
In Venezuela in 1999, pursuing his great vision, Carlos created Tecno Obras. Following its success, he opened a new location in New York as Tecno Obras Consulting Group, Inc. in 2010, and a few years later Deternoz Engineering P.C. All this happened as he worked at different companies gaining extensive experience planning, operating, and maintaining roads and highways for the petroleum industry.
